Festival Viva Musica! A celebration of summer, music, and culture
The Viva Musica! festival is one of the most significant music events during the summer in Slovakia. It is popular not only among locals but also international visitors. It takes place annually in the beautiful setting of Bratislava and on June 21, it will host the Bratislava Boys' Choir.
The festival director Janka Kovalčik smiles contentedly as she shares that she was not surprised when tickets for the Bratislava Boys' Choir concert sold out before they even started promoting it:
"The speed caught me a bit off guard, but we expected it because we had the Bratislava Boys' Choir at the festival in 2022, and it was a huge success with the audience then as well. This will be the first concert in the Musical Gardens series. It will take place in the garden of the Ecocenter in Čunovo, which is a renovated former manor house, a beautiful environment. In case of bad weather, we will move to the granary, which is also part of the complex. The boys are rehearsing a cheerful summer program, it will be amazing. We are really looking forward to it."
